YOUTH
Our youth programs are as varied as the youth themselves. Through morning and evening fellowship, study and service, we strive to both challenge and lift up each and every young person that God sends us.

MISSION TRIP -  July 25 - 29

July 18, 2010 - 7:00 pm.m CUSE participants meeting in the Parlor.  You will get a packet with schedules, etc. and have your questions answered.

Sunday School (9:00-10:00 a.m. Sunday)

6th, 7th and 8th graders will meet in the Middle School Youth Room and will be studying “My Faith, My Life”.

9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders will meet in the Senior High Room with Jim Miller, Kevin Jones, Steve Cook studying “E-100 Bible Challenge”.

JEYC/EYC -5:00-7:30 p.m., Sunday

Youth Summerj Schedule - During the summer months, the youth will continue to meet each Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:30.  They will need their own transportation to and from the scheduled meeting place.  We will have a devotional/Bible study session for 10 to 15 minutes each week, followed by recreation.  June 13th - Shaddox house; June 20th - Powell house; June 27th - Suqiers house; July 4th - no meeting; July 11th -Callaham house; July 18th - VBS kick off; July 25th - Mission Trip.

 

WAKE-UP WEEKEND
Wake-Up Weekend is a city-wide weekend event of spiritual awakening with over 1,000 students participating. Open to students from grades 6-12. Held annually over the ML King holiday weekend in January.

YES (Youth Encounter Spirit)
YES weekend--open to students in the grades 7-9--focuses on exploring "who Christ is". The event brings together students from throughout the Diocese of Texas for a fun-filled weekend at Camp Allen and is held four times annually. For more information, visit epicenter.org.

HAPPENING
Happening is a weekend renewal opportunity for students in grades 10-12. Its purpose is to allow those attending to examine their faith in a relaxed, fun, informal and loving atmosphere. The Happening weekend encourages those who attend to understand and serve God through the Church. Held at Camp Allen near Navasota, Texas . For more information, visit epicenter.org.
