Next Lenten Speaker and Action Series Tonight!

Begins with Holy Eucharist at 5:30 pm in the church, followed by a light potluck supper in the Parish Hall with speaker presentations and a hands-on activity. This is a multi-generational, family-friendly event. Children are welcome!

Our focus this evening on local food insecurity is the annual Community Food Drive

Our speaker is Jason Hollinger from Lufkin Street Ministries 25:40 on ways to help with his work both now and in future.

We will work together to fill food/hygiene bags for our neighbors experiencing hunger and homelessness after we hear our speaker. Children are invited to stay in the Parish Hall and take part in learning about and doing for outreach ministry.

Please choose an item or items to bring on Wednesday: Individually wrapped non-perishable snacks, i.e. crackers of all kinds, fruit snacks, small bottled waters; and travel-sized deodorants, lotions, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, Chapstick, sunscreen.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for all ages in our parish to learn about food insecurity and contribute to our community by creating blessing bags for those in need. We hope to see you there as we come together to make a difference,
