Celtic Prayer Workshop

Lenten Spiritual Workshop and Fieldtrip
March 7th 11:30 am - 2 pm
Parish Hall, St. Cyprian's

Enjoy a brief brown bag lunch in fellowship with your tablemates to settle in before beginning a multimedia experience exploring ancient spiritual practices of Celtic Christian spirituality and centering prayer, led by Rev. Ashley. The workshop will include beautiful Celtic music and imagery, art time, guided prayer crafting, individual meditative prayer time, and table and group conversation. If you are looking to connect more deeply in spiritual practice during Lent, are craving a soothing, relaxing, peace-bringing encounter with God, and a new-old way to offer prayers for yourself and those you care about, this is the workshop for you.

Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden Labyrinth Walk

Lenten Spiritual Workshop and Fieldtrip
March 21st 10:30 am

If you've never walked a labyrinth, or if you have already experienced one, come enjoy a group journey through the labyrinth with a beautiful backdrop of azaleas, encountering time with the Holy Spirit at the beautiful Ruby M. Mize Garden on the SFA Campus in Nacogdoches. The gardens are expected to be in full bloom. Logistics will be announced as March 21 approaches, so be sure to Save The Date on your calendar! Tentative plans are to meet up at the church and carpool over to the gardens, sharing spiritual reflections of the experience over lunch afterward in Nacogdoches, before returning to St. Cyprian's.
